You may think you know it all. Chris Black knows that you don’t.
As founder of Done to Death Projects, Black has spent more than 15 years in the music, advertising and fashion industries. He’s also picked up a few things along the way. He’s compiled what he knows in “I Know You Think You Know It All,” a book of more than 400 tips, pointers and quotes to help up and coming creative minds “keep their feet on the ground and their head out of their ass.”
Billed as a pocket-sized wise older brother, “I Know You Think You Know It All” covers sex and dating, social media etiquette and style. Critics have taken notice, prompting GQ to write, “Read it, learn it, and by God, spread the wisdom. Together, we can stop idiocy and douchebaggery.”
Although this is Black’s first book, he’s not new to the cultural scene. A writer, producer and editor, his Done to Death Projects has worked with New Balance, VICE and Harry’s, among other clients. He also writes a regular column for Style.com and frequently contributes to Inventory, The World’s Best Ever and Yahoo.
“I Know You Think You Know It All” is available now from Penguin Random House.
