Last week we showcased a preview of this collaboration, now here’s a closer look at the COS x Snarkitecture installation at this year’s Salone del Mobile.

Daniel Arsham and Alex Mustonen from Snarkitecture have transformed Spazio Erbe into an immersive translucent cave which features an environment which reflects COS’s core values in an appreciation of clean lines used to create something magnificent out of ordinary materials. The cave, which is Snarkitecture’s debut at Milan, was inspired by the COS Spring/Summer ’15 collection and celebrates the ambiguity of transparency. It is a labyrinth of thousands of strips of layered white fabric hanging from the ceiling to the floor and walking through it takes you to another world which showcases how great things can be created using basic fabrics, innovative thought and creativity.

The temporarily set up “world of reflection, exploration and interaction” can be viewed at the international furniture fair until Sunday the 19th of April.
