Robert Geller departs from his usual dark, gritty style in his Spring/Summer 2016 collection, recently revealed at New York Fashion Week. Inspired by his experiences vacationing near the North Sea, this collection is unexpectedly light, bright, and airy, using beautiful prints and patterns. The dominant pattern in the entire collection is “the look of light reflecting off water,” and it’s expertly captured in many different styles in virtually all of the collection’s outfits. The entire lineup feels very Asiatic and elegant, testament to Geller’s flexibility and ability to put the emotion of the moment into his creations.
