Up until five years ago, people thought that the Rolex Albino GMT-Master was a myth. Its existence became more viable when an Albino Explorer sold for over $180,000 and an Albino Daytona became the most expensive Rolex to ever be sold on auction, which also gives an indication of the value of this latest piece. The Albino version differs from the 1954 original because of its white, instead of black, dial. It belongs to the private collection of the owners of Japanese watch dealership East Crown, who gave HODINKEE an exclusive opportunity to take a look at it and share the vintage timepiece with us. Check out the photos of the Albino Rolex GMT-Master 6542 below and read the full story on HODINKEE.
