Twitter Launches Music on Vine

With no more limitations on direct messaging and now launching Music on Vine, Twitter is spreading its influence in the scope of social media and music. Vine was acquired by Twitter in 2012 and now has an active monthly user base of over 200 million people. Music on Vine helps you discover and make your own music on the short-form video sharing service. The focus is on artists, with the app providing a platform to reach out to other artists to form bands and play together in person. This is Twitter’s second attempt to enter the world of music, following 2013’s Twitter Music, which was discontinued after 12 months. We hope that Music on Vine will stick around for much longer. Music on Vine can be downloaded for iOS and Android.
