The New Turbocharged 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera

Porsche is releasing a 911 Carrera with a turbocharged engine. The turbocharged 2017 Porsche 911 Carrera pushes 331 pound-feet of torque and is capable of running at 370 horsepower, which is 20 horsepower faster than the Carrera’s capacity in 2015. The Carrera S will see an upgrade to 420 horsepower and 368 pound-feet of torque. The upgrades will make these the fastest 911’s ever, with the 911 Carrera sprinting from 0 to 60 mph in just four seconds, and the S model achieving that in 3.7 seconds. The top speeds for the Porsche 911 Carrera and S models respectively are 183 and 191 mph. The turbocharged sports cars will also be 12% more fuel efficient than their predecessors.
