As part of their newly announced Reborn program, Land Rover and Land Rover Classic have hand-picked 25 classic Series 1 SUVs that they will now be restoring from the ground up. Buyers will have the option to choose from five period-correct colors and two wheelbases, while even being able to follow the restoration process as it’s being performed.
The price range for a completed car range from roughly $85,000 USD to $110,000 so add the fact that these will be factory-backed and warrantied and you can imagine the price will climb significantly from there. Each restore will take anywhere from six to nine months, a service that will be extended to customer vehicles that in dire need of a restore.
