Pharrell Williams is continuing his adidas Originals Hu Collaboration with SOLARHU for Fall/Winter 2018. For this iteration, Pharrell was inspired by the peaceful, meditative nature of running and East African culture, where running is deeply ingrained. These ideas, of course, are coupled with adidas’ fearless colors and bold patterns. The SOLARHU Collection will feature three pieces – two pairs of shoes and one jacket – all executing the creative vision perfectly.
The jacket, SOLARHU TT FZ, is a lightweight, double-layered and woven track top and marks SOLARHU’s journey into performance, retailing at $200. The first pair of shoes, SOLARHU NMD, is a fresh new take on the iconic NMD style and has a midsole made of adidas Boost, a revolutionary energy-returning material. The second pair of shoes, the SOLARHU Tennis V2, is an East African-inspired take on the Tennis Hu, featuring an EVA midsole for flexibility and comfort. The shoes will be retailing at $250 and $130, respectively.
