Puma and ADER ERROR Blend Classic and ‘FUTRO’ For Joint Effort

South Korea’s ADER ERROR blew up back in 2015 because of their oversized unisex shapes, soft color blocking, and the use/misuse of the English language. The aesthetics of ADER ERROR invoke a sense of nostalgia and “reframing the mundane” with every release, which makes them a perfect candidate for Puma’s new collaboration.

In their first joint collaboration, ADER ERROR served as creative director and chose to make FUTRO the main theme of the collection. The forward-thinking creative directors made use of bold text, logo play, collage detailing, and other modern or retro design elements. Perhaps most notable is the ADER ERROR take on the classic 80s Puma shoe, the Running System (RS). This collection has fresh takes on the RS-0, RS-100, and classic suede shoe. But, a collection that combines classic and future ideas wouldn’t be complete without specific apparel. Puma has made sure to deliver a broad range of apparel in retro fabric and colors that can be mixed, creating something that is innovative while building on old trends.

The PUMA x ADER ERROR Collection dropped on September 1 and can be found on Puma’s website  and in select stores.
