New Balance has developed a worn-out look for its growing 2002R “Protection Pack” – a deconstructed rendition of the 2002R. The “Protection Pack” has received great reviews from the footwear community since it was released last year – leading to a slew of highly sought-after colorways.
New Balance is dropping the 2002R “Protection Pack” worn and aged aesthetic in time for the Spring/Summer 2022 season. The pair has various “unfinished” overlays styled in white and appears to be smudged from usage. It utilizes mesh, suede, and leather materials to create a deconstructed look with a foam tongue sitting on a classic Abzorb midsole. The N-energy outsole rounds out the design.
The “worn” 2002R “Protection Pack” is expected to release in select retailers and online at New Balance for $150 USD in the coming months.
