The iconic Air Jordan 2 has seen several iterations thanks in part to several high-profile collaborations. To close out 2022, Nike unveils the classic Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” colorway this holiday season, an homage to the pair famously worn by Michael Jordan in the 1987 Slam Dunk Contest.
The new Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” looks similar to the original, coming in a White, Black, and Varsity Red colorway. This new pair features white smooth leather on the collars, toe boxes, quarters, and mudguards with white lizard-skin leather overlays paired with black detailing and varsity red contrasting accents that make up the uppers. Classic Wings logo on the tongue, Nike branded heels, and three-toned soles complete the “Chicago” aesthetic. Each pair comes in a replica of the original Wings box and packaging.
Set to drop on December 30th, the Air Jordan 2 “Chicago” will be available for $200 for the men’s pair at SNKRS and other retailers. The model will also come in women’s, grade school, preschool, and toddler sizing.
