IWC Schaffhausen and Austrian ski brand The Faction Collection reveal their first collaboration with a 55-pair freestyle ski collection.
Focused on sustainability and responsible production, the freestyle ski pairs are handmade in Austria at a renewable energy factory and with the similar specs used by Olympic Gold-medalist Eileen Gu. Each comes from sustainably sourced ash and poplar wooden cores and features carbon-rubber binding, carbon weave, 7mm XL sidewall, and tone-on-tone white top sheet. The collection received glow-in-the-dark co-branding and “IWC LAKE TAHOE” letterings.
For every “Faction Studio 1 IWC Collab Ltd.” pair of freestyle skis purchased, buyers have the option to purchase a matching Pilot’s Watch Chronograph Top Gun Edition in a white ceramic “Lake Tahoe” version. The special edition timepiece mirrors the design of the skis with a white ceramic case, black dial, luminescent green hands, and a titanium caseback engraved with the Top Gun logo.The Faction Studio 1 IWC Collab Ltd. skis are available now for $749 on Fraction’s website. The skis come in a limited run of 55 pairs in two sizes with deliveries expected by December 24th, 2022.
