We previewed the A Kind of Guise Spring/Summer 2023 collection earlier this year, and this time, the German brand gives us more from the ‘Wadi Rum’ collection. Jordan, the Arab state that lies at the crossroads of Asia, Africa, and Europe, is this collection’s inspiration.
The seasonal transition from spring to summer in the northern Arabian peninsula gives us the backdrop for the Farouk Padded Jacket, Amman Leather Jacket, and Nebo Jackets from the collection. We see more lightweight linen, in-house fabric patterns, hand-crocheted headgear, and knitwear in the collection. Color palettes play with vibrant shades of blue, green, pink, beige, and white.
The German brand’s SS23 accessories see cotton bandanas with desert-inspired prints, bucket hats, and new caps in a durable cotton yarn material.
