Aston Martin Valour Celebrates 110 Years with Ultra-Exclusive Front-Engine V12 Styling

Aston Martin’s 110th-anniversary offering is nothing less than the only front-engined V12 sports car available with a manual transmission, the Valour. A callback to the golden era of driving, the Aston Martin Valour is an ode to Aston Martin’s rich history.

Aston Martin’s director of design, Miles Nurnberger, led a team to design the anniversary car. Taking inspiration from the V8 Vantage and one-ff Victor, the Aston Martin Valour features a carbon fiber bodywork, a clamshell hood with a large ‘horse shoe’ vent, twin NACA ducts, redesigned grille shape with carbon fiber intakes on either side of a central section made of aluminum strakes, round LED headlights, noticeable front splitter and front fender vents, rear screen exoblades, 21” lightweight forged alloy ‘Honeycomb’ wheels, AML-specific Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires, Kamm tail and diffuser, rear LED light blades inspired by the Valkyrie hypercar, rear full-width aluminum accent, and a triple tailpipe lightweight stainless steel exhaust system. Personalization options include an array of hand-painted stripes and graphics designs and 21 paint color themes.

Inside, the two-seater Aston Martin Valour features a manual transmission gear lever with a gear knob in either machined aluminum, titanium, carbon fiber, or walnut, an exposed shift mechanism, woolen tweed seat panels inspired by the seat coverings of Aston Martin’s 1959 Le Mans-winning DBR1, lightweight performance carbon fiber weave seat shells, as well as tailored door cards, fascia air vents, upper center console, and transmission tunnel. Further customizations, including one-off detailing, are possible with the help of Q by Aston Martin.

Under the hood, Aston Martin Valour boasts a twin-turbocharged 5.2-liter V12 with 705 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque, channeled through a new six-speed manual gearbox. It also features a mechanical limited-slip differential, electronic traction, and stability control systems, Sport, Sport+ and Track Driving Modes, custom-made suspension with adaptive dampers, springs and anti-roll bars, rear suspension tower strut brace and fuel tank bracing, and carbon ceramic brakes.

The Aston Martin Valour is scheduled to start its limited-run global production of only 110 units in the third quarter of 2023, with deliveries starting in late 2023. Priced at over $1 million each, the car is poised to become a collector’s item. For more information, please visit the Aston Martin website.
