Richard Mille celebrates the centenary of the 24 Hours Le Mans endurance race by releasing the 150-piece limited-edition RM 72-01 Automatic Winding Flyback Chronograph Le Mans Classic.
Initially introduced in 2020, the RM 72-01 is Richard Mille’s flyback chronograph model, and the special edition is the latest in a long line of variants for one of the brand’s more successful models.
The RM 72-01 Le Mans Classic features Richard Mille’s signature tonneau-shaped profile, a green and white Quartz TPT, checkered flag accents on both the Le Mans Classic logo at 11 o’clock and the 7 o’clock vertical date window, green and white dial elements, bright orange accents on the sub-dials, carbon fiber hour markers, luminous indexes, white tachymeter scale, anti-reflective treated Sapphire crystals on both the dial and the caseback, black TZP ceramic pushers, a matching white rubber strap with a titanium deployment clasp, and water resistance of up to 30 meters.
The RM 72-01 Automatic Winding Flyback Chronograph Le Mans Classic runs on the in-house caliber CRMC1 that comes with a grade 5 titanium baseplate and the bridges, a solid platinum rotor, skeletonized movement with an automatic bidirectional winding, flyback chronograph, function indicator, stop seconds, and has a 50-hour power reserve.
