UNIMATIC x Hodinkee Modello Quattro U4S-Carbon and Uno U1S-Carbon GMT Duo Goes Monochrome

UNIMATIC is back with Hodinkee to present their two newest collaborative projects. Available now in limited quantities, the UNIMATIC Modello Quattro U4S-Carbon and the UNIMATIC Modello Uno U1S-Carbon GMT are the latest collab from the Minnesota watchmaker and the New York-based watch website.

The 40mm UNIMATIC Modello Quattro U4S-Carbon features a forged carbon fiber case material in Hodinkee’s signature marbled light gray palette, a titanium inner case structure, a gray brutalist style dial, blocky hour indices, Super-LumiNova coated hands, a seconds hand that pays homage to early field watches, 2.8mm thick flat sapphire with inner side anti-reflective coating, an Asphalt gray TPU two-piece strap with a matte forged carbon buckle, and a 300m water resistance. Powering the Modello Quattro U4S-Carbon is the Swiss Sellita SW-1b automatic movement with 41 hours of power reserve.

Meanwhile, the 41.5mm blacked-out Modello Uno U1S-Carbon GMT comes in a marbled dark gray carbon fiber outer case, a titanium inner case, a matte 24-hour bezel, a black GMT hand can be adjusted in 24-hour increments, a 2.5mm double domed sapphire with inner side anti-reflective coating, a caseback engraved with each model’s serial number and a specialized UNIMATIC x Hodinkee design, a black TPU two-piece strap with a matte forged carbon buckle, and 300 meters of water resistance. The watch is powered by the Swiss-made ETA 2893-2 automatic movement, with a 42-hour power reserve.

Each timepiece comes in a custom-made UNIMATIC Tough Case and is limited to 250 pieces each. The UNIMATIC Modello Quattro U4S-Carbon retails for $2,200, while the UNIMATIC Modello Uno U1S-Carbon GMT Limited Editions For Hodinkee retails for $2,900. Both are available exclusively at the Hodinkee Shop.
