Bang & Olufsen, the Danish high-end consumer electronics company, just revealed the newest addition to its standalone speaker line, the Beolab 8 speakers. The speakers combine a surround-sound system, a stunning form factor, and a clear stereo experience wrapped up in one compact package.
Designed by Noto GmbH, the Bang & Olufsen Beolab 8 speakers have an aluminum/fabric/Wood/Polymer construction. It features a 50W tweeter, 50W mid-range, and 200W woofer speaker configuration, active room compensation, beam width control, adaptive bass linearization, thermal protection, and customizable Sound EQ. The speakers come with Bluetooth 5.3 compatibility, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, streaming service compatibility, and Beolink multiroom integration.
The Beolab 8 speakers have several stand options and can be used with a table stand, floor stand, and wall mount. A ceiling mount is expected to be available later.
The Beolab 8 in the Gray Mélange fabric cover retails for $5,498 a pair, while the Oak, Light Oak, and Dark Oak cover variants will retail for $6,598 a pair. The Beolab 8 speakers are expected to release in-store and on the Bang & Olufsen webstore on October 30th.
