Stone Island, the Italian luxury fashion house, just released its Fall/Winter 2023 collection. This season’s Ghost pieces offering expands on the brand’s monochromatic, tone-on-tone philosophy with the introduction of the new bark shade.
The Stone Island FW23 collection has jackets, shirts, vests, sweatshirts, and pants in the brand’s trademark ‘ton sur ton’ look. The newest drop gets a new bark shade that joins its classic neutral palette of blue, black, and dark gray. The collection also sees the use of the monochromatic Stone Island badge and O-Ventile fabric for its outerwear. The 100% organic version of Ventile was developed from non-coated and non-laminated fine long-staple cotton fiber. When wet, the dense weaving and the swelling properties of the fiber give the garment all-weather protection.
Highlight pieces in the collection include the 709F1 Stone Island Ghost Piece_O-Ventile long coat with a detachable hood on a valet-stand collar, the G08F1 Stone Island Ghost Piece_O-Ventile Down vest with a padded valet-stand collar and armholes with elasticized inner inlay, the half-zip cotton wool fleece 631F3 Stone Island Ghost Piece sweatshirt with an oversized fit and bottom hem side slits, and the 307F1 Stone Island Ghost Piece_O-Ventile cargo pants with slanting hand pockets and diagonally placed cargo pockets.
