The NOAH x Lavenham capsule collection is the second collaboration between NOAH, the Soho-based clothing brand, and Lavenham, the London-based brand. It delves into the roots of outerwear, drawing inspiration from historical influences and cultural symbolism.
The NOAH x Lavenham collection pays homage to the timeless appeal of classic pieces while infusing them with a contemporary twist. It features two jacket styles: the Barningham Jacket in two colors and the Buffalo Check Denham Jacket in three colorways.
The Buffalo Check Denham, a quintessential diamond quilt jacket with a cord-collared design, epitomizes the fusion of traditional British craftsmanship with an American cultural lens. Drawing inspiration from the classic ‘buffalo plaid,’ which originated in Scotland as the ‘Macgregor Red and Black’ tartan, it has become an emblem of the great American outdoors, hip-hop culture, and more. The Noah x Lavenham Buffalo Check Denham Jacket comes in a 65% recycled wool/30% recycled polyester/5% other fiber construction with corduroy trim and collar. It features the signature Lavenham diamond quilting with recycled polyester wadding, full button closure, patch pockets at the waist, and an embroidered logo on the sleeve. It comes in Blue/Black, Red/Black, and Green/Black color options.
Meanwhile, the M-51 Fishtail Parka, which started out as a standard-issue outerwear for American soldiers during the Korean War, has metamorphosed into a symbol of rebellion and counter-culture movements. Reflecting on the evolution of this iconic piece, the Noah x Lavenham collaboration pays tribute to its historical significance, reimagining it as a uniform for today’s trendsetters and cultural trailblazers. The Noah x Lavenham Barningham Jacket features a 100% cotton Japanese herringbone with corduroy trim construction, signature Lavenham diamond quilting with recycled polyester wadding, full button closure with hood, patch hand pockets on front, fishtail with adjustable drawcord on back, and an embroidered logo on sleeve. It comes in black and army green.
