Tiffany & Co. and Daniel Arsham once again blend fine art with exquisite jewelry with the launch of the Bronze Eroded Penny Vessel, accompanied by a limited-edition Tiffany & Arsham Studio HardWear Necklace.
The Bronze Eroded Penny Vessel is a sculptural piece cast in patinated bronze and embedded with polished crystals. It references Arsham’s 2013 ‘Study of the Eroded Penny’ as well as Tiffany’s 1885 redesign of the Great Seal of the United States, which was used in U.S. currency. The result is a reinterpretation of an ordinary penny as an ancient artifact. The Bronze Eroded Penny Vessel is highly exclusive, limited to just 39 sculptures. Each vessel is handcrafted at Arsham Studio in New York.
Inside each vessel is a hidden treasure: a limited-edition Tiffany & Arsham Studio HardWear necklace. Inspired by a 1962 archival piece, the necklace is crafted in 18 white gold and set with over 1,000 diamonds and more than 500 tsavorites. The green tsavorites subtly reflect the vessel’s bronze patina and Arsham’s preferred color.
Each set is delivered in a custom Tiffany Blue art-handling crate, accompanied by a matching blue box and co-branded white gloves. For more details, visit the brand’s website.
