Monsieur Lacenaire’s most recent collection revels in the brand’s charming Parisian quality – it’s fun, it’s fresh and it evokes the upbeat yet relaxing spirit of the beautiful city where the brand set its roots. The line exudes a European flair but with a more toned down and laid back approach. Designer and knitwear genius Garance Broca used inspiration from his favorite site, les Jardins des Tuileries – from the boats to the chairs to the kids frantically roaming around the amusement park – to create light, airy clothing fit for leisurely strolling around and absorbing the surrounding sites. The collection follows a cool, playful palette with popular standout colors including varied shades of blue, green and yellow. Linen shorts and pants are paired with more vibrant button ups and patchwork shirts, featuring intricate embellishments of sailboats and abstract works of art.
