This week, Apple officially unveiled the iPad Air 2, giving us an even slimmer design that comes in at just 6.1mm thin and weight of less than a pound. The Retina Display’s been updated for enhanced as have the cameras, giving users the ability to capture more detailed photos and videos. The iPad Air 2 gets plenty of key features we’ve already seen from the iPhone family such as Touch ID, iOS 8, Apple Pay and much more, but the computing power’s strong enough to really deliver a seamless user experience. All this is thanks to Apple’s A8X chip that’s blended with an M8 motion coprocessor that pulls in motion data from the accelerometer, gyroscope, compass, and an all-new barometer. The iSight camera’s got an 8MP sensor with advanced optics and with iOS 8, it can now capture pano photos, time-lapse video, slo-mo, and stunning 1080p HD video. Transferring data will be faster than ever also as the iPad Air 2 has 802.11ac WiFi with MIMI technology, giving users 2.8 times the WiFi performance of its predecessor. The iPad Air 2 is available to order online in gold, silver and space gray with prices starting at $499 USD.
