“Displacement” is the name and theme of the newly-revealed Chapter Spring/Summer 2016 collection. Taking its inspiration from the way a prism displaces all the colors from a single ray of light, the collection has many of Chapter’s signature pieces such as woven tops, bomber jackets, and cropped pants. The collection uses lighter fabrics like linen, rayon, and cotton, as well as a boxier, top-heavier silhouette as a nod to the season. Colors such as plum, lavender, olive and navy lend a sense of simple opulence to the entire collection.
