‘Trumbo’ is a biopic about the rise and fall of Hollywood screenwriter and novelist Dalton Trumbo during the 1940s. He becomes blacklisted by Hollywood because of his political beliefs and has to fight against the studio bosses and the national government in a battle over words and freedom.
The American drama was written by John McNamara and directed by Jay Roach. Bryan Cranston stars in the title role, alongside Diane Lane as Cleo Fincher Trumbo, Elle Fanning as Nikola Trumbo, Alan Tudyk as Ian McLellan Hunter, Helen Mirren as Hedda Hopper, John Goodman as Frank King, Dean O’Gorman as Kirk Douglas, and David James Elliott as John Wayne. The movie will hit the theaters on the 6th of November.
