Land Rover is giving their 2023 Range Rover Velar the HST trim level previously offered on Range Rover Sport and the Range Rover Evoque. The new model is powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six with an electric supercharger and an eight-speed automatic transmission. It also comes with the R-Dynamic S model – however, it showcases a huge increase in power, churning out 395 horsepower and 405 pound-feet of torque. It can hit 0 to 60mph in only 5.2 seconds.
The vehicle is presented in a black roof panel and a Black Pack for its exteriors, sitting on specific 21-inch wheels. It is open to customization with a full Velar color palette. However, drivers can choose the Arroios Gray shade, which is exclusive for the HST trim level. Its hatch features a subtle “HST” emblem right under the “VELAR” lettering.
Taking a look within, it is fitted with a black Suedecloth headliner and a panoramic roof panel. It comes with Park Assist technology and the standard Adaptive Dynamics technology – bringing in automatic parking and adaptive cruise control with steering assist.
