Converse‘s futuristic Sponge Crater CX sneakers will get an all-white colorway in “Natural Ivory” hues.
The pair was first introduced as part of a collab with Samuel Ross‘ A-COLD-WALL* brand, recently appearing in an all-black iteration. It features a two-piece mule-type structure that combines the Crater Foam body with a knit sock upper.
Sponge Crater CX’s exterior has a foam finish that looks like a Nike Grind rubber. It has a rugged feel due to the scattered multi-colored dots. The insole looks like a mid-cut sock, refined for breathability and paired with nylon pull tabs on the tongue and heel that feature green “Natural Treeline” Converse motifs.
The Converse Sponge Crater CX “Natural Ivory” is set to release for $110. Watch out for the launch on the Converse website and at select retailers.
