A Kind of Guise, the German brand by Yasar Ceviker and Susi Streich, just released the first part of their Spring/Summer 2023 collection. Given the ‘Wadi Rum’ title, named after an ecosystem in the Jordanian desert, the collection takes inspiration from a journey through the Middle East.
The collection featuring coats, cardigans, shirts, trousers, and accessories, focuses on AKOG-specialty fabrics, transitional jackets, desert oasis-inspired prints, and colors.
A highlight of the Kind of Guise Spring/Summer 2023 collection is the new Farouk Padded Jacket, which features a traditional Arabic stand collar, padding from recycled fibers, tonal coroza buttons, and AKOG Exclusive in-house paisley-designed lining. It comes in Dark Incense and Desert Sage color options.
Other notable pieces in the collection include the Amman fine soft goat suede Leather Jacket in Twilight Navy and Cacao colorways, Nebo Jackets made of water-repellent recycled Nylon and Organic Cotton Korean fabric, Kura cardigans, and knitted cotton cashmere melange vests and pullovers. New accessories include desert-inspired printed cotton bandanas and Karim Crochet caps.
The Kind of Guise SS23 collection’s first drop is available now from the brand’s website, as well as from The Kind of Guise Munich & Berlin retail stores.
