Adidas Orketro 2.0 Get First Look

The adidas Orketro was launched last year by the adidas Originals division. The new brutalist architecture-inspired silhouette spawned several collaborative versions. This year, Orketro 2.0 takes over from last year with changes to the upper and sole units.

The Orketro 2.0 ‘Core Black’ now has new overlay forms, curved mudguards that make an ‘M’ shape on the side, electric green detailing, and a glossy finish on the synthetic/textile build. The Three Stripes going from the toe’s midsole to the lacing system make a return over a mesh base with synthetic and plastic panels.

The sole unit also gets some changes with the addition of a more noticeable orange adiPRENE branding, a torsional plate cutting through the midsole, and the outsoles having a nubbed traction pattern at the front.

The Orketro 2.0 ‘Core Black’ is scheduled to launch in Europe on February 28th at 6 PM EST for approximately $170 a pair, a local release is yet to be announced but is expected to follow soon after.
