Bulgari Tokyo: The Eighth Gem in Bulgari’s Crown Readies For Spring Opening

Bulgari has a name that’s always been synonymous with gemstone jewelry, luxury watches, and products has its sights set on taking the lead in luxury hospitality with the opening of Bulgari Hotel Tokyo.

The new hotel will see Bulgari’s modern Italian-style luxury hotel open its doors in April, just in time for spring. The hotel occupies the 40th to 45th floors of the Tokyo Midtown Yaesu, an ultra-skyscraper in the Yaesu 2-Chome North District.

Strategically located in the heart of the Yaesu district, home to the iconic red brick Tokyo Station, it boasts a view overlooking the Imperial Palace garden and Mount Fuji and is a walk away from the Nihombashi and Marunouchi financial districts and the Ginza shopping district.

As with all previous Bulgari Hotels & Resorts, the interiors of the Bulgari Hotel Tokyo are designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, who designed the hotel to feature the brand’s iconic sophisticated Italian style.

The hotel will be offering 98 Rooms and Suites, including the singularly deluxe 400 sqm Bulgari Suite, all decorated with Italian luxury residential furniture brands like Maxalto, Flexform, and B&B Italia.

Wellness is also paramount at Bulgari Hotel Tokyo, and the 1,000-square-meter Bulgari Spa will be showcasing a state-of-the-art fitness center and a 25-meter indoor pool, encompassing innovative treatments, therapies, and grooming options available for guests.

Bulgari Hotel Tokyo will also be hosting Sushi Hōseki, the Japanese concept restaurant that first made its mark at the Bulgari Resort Dubai. It only has eight seats overlooking a private Japanese rock garden, modern minimalist interiors, and a traditional single-slab hinoki wood counter. Helmed by Chef Kenji Gyoten, awarded three Michelin Stars at Sushi Gyoten, the meal is Omakase, a discovery concept that means ‘I leave it to you,’ where Chef Kenji Gyoten will prepare tailor-made dishes for guests.

Aside from that, the hotel will also have the Bulgari hotel chain’s signature features like The Bulgari Bar, Il Ristorante – Niko Romito, the fireplace Lounge, the Bulgari Dolci boutique, two Ballrooms, and a Wedding Salon. The eighth and most recent of the Bulgari Hotels & Resorts collection will open its doors at 2-2-1 Yaesu, Chuo-ku, on April 4th, 2023.
