Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium, Debuts at Watches and Wonders 2023

Last seen in 2021 as a prototype of British competitive sailor Ben Ainslie, Rolex debuts the new Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium at Watches and Wonders 2023. The Rolex Yacht-Master line was first introduced in 1992 and has become one of Rolex’s most popular models.

The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium carries the line’s familiar Yacht-Master-style gloss black dial but also sports a few new details. It sports a mixed finish with contrasting brushed chamfer lug tips, polished classic Rolex crown guards, and a titanium upper bezel edge, a first for Rolex. It also sports a grade 5 titanium alloy construction, a bidirectional rotatable 60-minute graduated bezel with a Cerachrom insert, a Chromalight display, large indices, a fully brushed titanium Oyster bracelet, and features the brand’s 5mm Easylink extension system. It has a water resistance of up to 100 meters.

Like other models in the Yacht-Master range, the Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium is powered by the Caliber 3235 with a paramagnetic blue Parachrom hairspring oscillator. It has high-performance Paraflex shock absorbers, bidirectional self-winding via a perpetual rotor, and a power reserve of about 70 hours.

The Rolex Yacht-Master 42 in RLX Titanium Ref. 226627 carries an MSRP of $14,050. For more information, please visit rolex.com.
