Unimatic pays homage to its Italian heritage with the release of four Tuscany-inspired watches to its Modello line. Limited to only 400 examples per model, the watches come in an olive drab colorway.
The 40mm Modello Uno, ref. U1S-8O, features a 316 stainless steel brushed finish case, gold metallic closed second rail and dial trims, Super-LumiNova® GL light old radium markers and hands, an Olive drab dial, 120 clicks mono-directional security bezel, Unimatic conversion scale screw-down caseback, Olive drab TPU two-piece strap, an extra Olive drab seatbelt NATO strap, and offers water-resistance up to 300 meters. It’s powered by the Swiss Movement Sellita SW200-1 b, which has a 38-hour power reserve.
Next up, the 38mm Modello Due, ref. U2S-8O, features a 316 stainless steel brushed finish case, gold metallic closed second rail and dial trims, Super-LumiNova® GL light old radium markers and hands, an Olive drab dial, 2.7 mm thick ultra double domed sapphire, Unimatic Angular Mil screw-down caseback, Olive drab TPU two-piece strap, Olive drab two-piece seatbelt strap, and offers water-resistance up to 300 meters. It’s powered by the same Swiss Movement Sellita SW200-1 b, with a 38-hour power reserve.
The 40mm Modello Tre, ref. U3-8O, features a 316 stainless steel brushed finish case, gold metallic closed second rail and dial trims, an Olive drab aluminum insert with raised lume dot, Super-LumiNova® GL light old radium markers and hands, an Olive drab dial with concentric circles subdial, 1/5 second sweep second hand with mechanical reset, Fat screw-down chrono pushers, Unimatic world timer screw-down caseback, Olive drab TPU two-piece strap, an extra Olive drab seatbelt NATO strap and offers water-resistance up to 300 meters. Unlike the others, the Modello Tre comes powered by the Meca-quartz caliber Seiko VK64.
Finally, the 40mm Modello Quattro, ref. U4S-8O, features a stainless steel brushed finish case, 2.8mm thick flat sapphire, gold metallic closed second rail and dial trims, Super-LumiNova® GL light old radium markers and hands, an Olive drab dial, Unimatic Ground-to-Air signals screw-down caseback, Olive drab TPU two-piece strap, an extra Olive drab seatbelt NATO strap, Stainless steel brushed finish buckle signed Unimatic, and offers water-resistance up to 300 meters. It’s powered by the Swiss Movement Sellita SW200-1b, with a 38-hour power reserve.
All watches come with a Unimatic tough case and a warranty card with a unique ID seal.
All four of the 400-piece limited-edition Tuscany-inspired Modello models dropped on May 23rd. The collection is priced between $675 to $999 and is available via Unimatic’s official webstore and select retailers.
