A Kind of Guise FW23 ‘Huldufólk’ Collection Draws Inspiration From Iceland

A Kind Of Guise drops its Fall/Winter 2023 collection this week. Inspired by Iceland’s Huldufólk, or hidden people, the collection leans heavily on the country’s landscapes, vistas, and color palette.

The collection features suiting and layering pieces, including knits, shirts, and pants, in the season’s deep and rich hues. Highlight pieces in the collection include a speckled pale green knit jumper paired with deeper moss green straight-cut corduroy pants, a button-down denim shirt with a paisley corduroy collar, a cotton-silk button-down with yellow stripes, a rich blue silk shirt with hand-painted wildflowers, and a dark green corduroy suit.

Other key pieces include watercolor print shirts designed by Berlin-based artist Jonathan Nicklaus.

Check out the AKOG Fall/Winter pieces in the lookbook. A Kind of Guise’s entire FW23 ‘Huldufólk’ collection is available now from the AKOG website.
