Zenvo Automotive, the Danish supercar manufacturer, revealed its V12 hybrid hypercar offering, the Zenvo Aurora, at the recently concluded Monterey Car Week. Available in the road-focused all-wheel-drive Tur and rear-wheel-drive track-focused Agil variants, they are the lightest and most powerful road car Zenvo Automotive has to date.
The Zenvo Aurora Tur, the all-wheel-drive variant, features integrated underbody aerodynamics, a lightweight triple electric motor system, a front electric torque vectoring system, a pushrod front and rear double wishbone active suspension, Bespoke 9,5×20’’ front and 12,5×21’’ rear Zenvo aluminum center-lock wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 front 265-35-20 and rear 325/30-21 tires. It delivers a combined system output of 1,850 hp and 1,254 lb-ft. pf torque with electric motors on the front wheels. The Tur goes from 0-62 mph in 2.3 seconds, with a top speed of 280 mph.
The Zenvo Aurora Agil, the rear-wheel-drive variant, features a Carbon composite monocoque chassis, carbon composite exposed sub-frames, carbon composite panels, an Integrated active underbody aerodynamics with rear wing air brake function, a pushrod front and rear double wishbone active suspension, bespoke 9,5×20’’ front and 12,5×21’’ rear Zenvo magnesium center-lock wheels, and Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 or Cup2R front 265-35-20 rear 325/30-21 tires. An integrated electric motor brings the total system output to 1,450 hp and 1,033 pound-feet of torque. The car can go from 0-62 miles per hour in 2.5 seconds, with a top speed of 227 mph.
Both the Aurora Tur and Aurora Agil run on a bespoke 6.6-litre quad-turbocharged V12 engine, developed by MAHLE Powertrain, mid-mounted behind the cockpit. The 90-degree hot-V configuration engine’s power is channeled through a hybridized seven-speed gearbox. It also comes with dry sump lubrication, variable valve timing, electric reverse gear, electric engine start, electric gear shift dampening, and E-differential.
Only 50 production units for each Zenvo Aurora model will be made, with production to begin in 2025 and deliveries scheduled in 2026. No specific pricing information was released, but expect the cost per unit to be around $2.83 million. For more information, please visit the Zenvo website.
