Singer Unveils Two New Additions To Turbo Study Lineup

Singer Vehicle Designs’ Turbo Study was initially launched in 2022. It featured a heavily modified 964-derived 3.8-liter twin-turbo flat-six engine, producing up to 510 horsepower and 442 pound-feet of torque, paired with a six-speed manual transmission. In comparison, the original 964-series 911 Turbo and the 1970s 930 Turbo had a single snail, reaching a maximum of 325 horsepower. To mark the original Turbo’s 50th anniversary, Singer has unveiled a Turbo Study, including Targa and Flatnose body styles.

The Targa is elegant and continues to be popular among Singer’s clients. It is a hybrid of a convertible and a coupe. On the other hand, the Flatnose is reminiscent of the 1980s and is highly sought after. All 25 units produced have already been sold.

The Turbo Study is worth the price with its incredible performance, delivered by a 3.7-litre Mezger flat-six engine, producing 442 lb-ft of torque. This engine nearly doubles the output of the original 930. The chassis has also been upgraded to accommodate this increased power, featuring two-way R53 dampers, adjustable ABS, stability control, and traction control. Additionally, 18-inch Michelin Pilot Sport 4 S tires improve the vehicle’s grip on the road.

With the Flatnose sold out, the Targa is undoubtedly worth owning for car enthusiasts. It offers a unique blend of classic design and modern performance. Buyers interested in the Targa can do so for a hefty price tag of $1 million for the build plus extra for a donor car. For more details, visit the Singer Vehicle Design website.
