Richard Mille’s newest creation, the RM 17-02 Manual Winding Tourbillon in titanium, embodies the brand’s watchmaking artistry and cutting-edge innovation.
The watch features the Maison’s emblematic tonneau tripartite case made from grade 5 titanium, measuring just over 40 mm in diameter. This case is innovative with its unique structure that eliminates the traditional casing ring. Instead, the movement is directly mounted onto chassis mounting rubbers that are secured with titanium screws. In addition, the case is equipped with two Nitrile O-ring seals, providing 50 meters of water resistance.
The manual-winding tourbillon movement is prominently visible on the watch’s face. The caliber’s intricate structure, featuring vibrant titanium components coated in gold and blue PVD, captivates visually and technically. The face also includes golden-yellow Arabic numeral hour markers, which echo the color scheme.
