2026 Aston Martin Vantage Roadster | Open-Top Variant Arrives For Latest-Gen Vantage

Aston Martin proudly unveils the new Vantage Roadster, a convertible variant of the latest generation Vantage Coupe. Introduced in 2024, the New Vantage redefined luxury and performance more than its predecessors. The new Vantage Roadster takes this experience even further by bringing open-air driving to the brand’s most potent front-engine, rear-wheel drive sports car.

The Vantage Roadster combines the coupe’s class-leading performance, dynamic handling, and stunning design with the exhilaration of open-air motoring. It delivers an unforgettable driving experience and enhanced performance thanks to its 4.0-litre V8 twin-turbo engine. This produces an impressive 665PS/800Nm, an unprecedented 155PS and 115Nm increase compared to its predecessor, achieved through larger turbochargers, revised camshaft profiles, and an optimized compression ratio.

The advanced engine is paired with an eight-speed paddle-shift transmission and electronically controlled limited-slip differential, which drives the rear wheels. This enables the Roadster to rocket from 0 to 60 mph in just 3.5 seconds and reach a top speed of 202 mph. The vehicle’s impressive braking discs, measuring 410 mm at the front and having six-piston monoblock calibers, enable it to quickly reduce these high speeds, whereas bespoke Michelin Pilot Sport S 5 tires provide the necessary grip and feedback.

The Roadster’s ultra-still, lightweight aluminum structure, composite body panels and ideal 49:51 weight distribution creates a robust platform for the suspension to act upon. The setup includes race-inspired double wishbones at the front, coil springs, a multi-link rear axle, Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers with bespoke tuning, and a non-isolated steering column, making it a world-class sports car. The vehicle’s electronic architecture, featuring six-axis sensors and an Advanced Control system with eight customizable settings, further enhances its performance.

This state-of-the-art British sports car offers the freedom, style, and adventure synonymous with convertibles but without the usual compromises. It features the fastest-operating fully automatic roof on the market that comes in a ‘Z-fold’ configuration, which takes only 6.8 seconds to open or close entirely. From the outset, engineers prioritized minimizing weight gain and maintaining structural rigidity, resulting in just a minimal weight increase from its coupe counterpart.

The Vantage Roadster’s design is as stunning as the coupe’s, whether the roof is raised or lowered. It retains the coupe’s widened stance and the large signature Aston Martin grille, which increases airflow to the powerful engine by 30%.

To elevate its visual appeal, the Roadster is offered in three new paint colors: Iridescent Sapphire, Satin Iridescent Sapphire, and Bronze Flare. The roof is available in Black, Blue, Red, or Black and Silver. Further customization options include painted liveries in 21 complementary colors, four 21-wheel styles in a range of finishes, and seven color choices for the brake calipers. Customers can also explore endless bespoke and customization possibilities via the Q by Aston Martin personalization service.

Like its Coupe counterpart, the Vantage Roadster is fitted with the brand’s bespoke next-generation infotainment, first introduced on DB12. The system features a 10.25” Pure Black touchscreen with full capacitive single and multi-finger gesture control balanced by tactile physical switches. Control switches are also present for various functions, including Chassis, ESP, and Exhaust. A new customer connectivity app, compatible with iOS and Android devices, enhances interaction to and from the vehicle.

The Vantage Roadster joins Aston Martin’s stellar lineup of luxury sports cars. Deliveries are set to commence in Q2 2025. For more information, visit the brand’s website.
