Shinsuke Takizawa‘s NEIGHBORHOOD has announced its first collaboration with Braun, releasing a limited-edition wall clock and an alarm clock that pays tribute to timeless 1980s design.
The collection features two reimagined Braun classics: the BC02, inspired by the 1987 AB1 miniature alarm clock, and the BC06 wall clock, based on the 1981 ABW30 model. Both pieces feature a co-branded dial and combine a 12-hour format with a 24-hour Arabic index. The designs are inspired by military watch designs and are available in black and white plastic finishes.
NEIGHBORHOOD’s appreciation for retro tech continues with this collaboration, following its 2024 reinterpretation of Columbia’s GP3 turntable and its mini tape player/boombox launched in April.
The Braun x NEIGHBORHOOD alarm clock is priced at ¥8,250 while the wall clock retails at ¥12,100. Both are available now at NEIGHBORHOOD’s website.
