F.P. Journe, the Swiss watch manufacturer known for artisanal work and a strong design language, unveils its entry to Only Watch 2023. The F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu Furtif, a one-off example, is a time-only sports watch with an integrated design and a newly developed movement.
The 42mm F.P. Journe Chronomètre Bleu Furtif features a sand-blasted and polished tantalum case and flat link bracelet, translucent blue Grand Feu enamel dial, laser-engraved matte numerals and track, matte blue hour and minute hands, and an orange seconds hand.
Visible through the crystal back is the house’s new hand-wound Caliber 1522. The entire movement is crafted in 18K rose gold and features a two-barrel architecture similar to the Chronomètre Souverain, direct central seconds, moon-phase indications at the 6 o’clock position visible from the back, and a 56-hour power reserve indicator at the 12:00 o’clock also visible from the back.
