Hunting & Collecting Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Hunting & Collecting Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Every season Hunting and Collecting shoots – with a guest photographer and guest models – a lookbook or a ‘moodbook’, that defines how the shop feels and understands the current season. It reflects their personal vision on contemporary fashion and culture. The styling is done exclusively with a selection of brands and products the Brussels-based retailer has in store that season. For S/S 2011, some of these brands are Soulland, Waste(Twice), Mark McNairy, and Patrik Ervell to name a few.

Head over to Hunting & Collecting for a complete look at their offerings for the current season.

Monitaly Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Monitaly Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

We’ve covered Monitaly’s S/S 2011 collection in the past but couldn’t resist putting up these images from the label’s lookbook for the current season. We think they’re doing some of the best work in the industry as they’re really able to juggle craftsmanship, design and wearability all at the same time. There’s much to be had from Monitaly’s spring and summer offerings. Though some product’s more formal than others, all-in-all the collection’s filled with gear that’s well made and versatile as well.

Saturdays Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Saturdays Surf Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook

Inventory turns us to the S/S 2011 lookbook from Saturdays, the in-house label of New York-based retail shop Saturdays Surf. The store’s been doing some great things in the past few years including some pretty notable collaborations. They’re gaining a lot of traction and the amount of Surf NYC tees we see around town is a testament to that. Their spring and summer digs are really well done and are ideal for the warmer months ahead.

Mjolk Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook

Mjolk Fall/Winter 2011 Lookbook Here we have a look at shots from Mjolk’s Fall 2011 lookbook. As you’ll see, the juices were flowing when these pieces were brought to life. Overcoats with front panels made from denim definitely get our attention but so do well-cut suiting from thick wools. For the winter, we’d have it no other way.

Garbstore Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook “Men Who Did”

Garbstore Spring/Summer 2011 Lookbook “Men Who Did”As the weather begins to turn up for us here in the Northeast, Garbstore showcases their S/S 2011 collection just in time. An antique chair made of boat oars is used as the canvas, and throws the product around in different arrangements. This type of attention to detail is seen in the label’s offerings as well and this season’s collection is a perfect example.

From faded denim made from Japanese denim to a Blouson based on an early cadet jacket, the collection infuses modern sensibility with timeless inspiration. Check out the lookbook below but be sure to head over to Couverture and The Garbstore to grab the goods.
