World-renowned photographer Mario Testino brings us a gallery of men in his new and largest book to-date, SIR. The book features over 300 photographs of men, which Testino took as part of his quest to define the allure of men. SIR also features an essay by Pierre Borhan and an interview with Patrick Kinmonth. The book traces the evolution and development of the male identity over the past thirty years and the images tell the story of men’s changing role in society which has become apparent through appearance and style. The photography collection includes well-known faces like David Beckham, Brad Pitt, Josh Hartnett, Jude Law, George Clooney, Colin Firth, Mick Jagger, Keith Richards and David Bowie. There are also pictures of unknown faces, ordinary men with a story of their own.
1,000 numbered limited edition copies of the book have been released, each signed by Testino, bound in Japanese cloth and encased in a metal slipcase. You can order a copy online now.
