Mercedes-Benz has released details about the Concept GLC Coupe, a cross-over car which will feature a 3.0 liter V6 engine running at 367 horsepower and 387 pound-feet of torque. Mercedes has also included 4Matic all-wheel drive and a nine-speed automatic transmission for power distribution. The car combines the typical style and performance features of a coupe with that of coming SUV generations. A distinctive front end with a sculptural headlamp design, a side profile with low-slung coupe greenhouse, and a rear end with a distinct coupe heritage have been combined to make up the vehicle’s exterior design. Additionally, A twin-blade radiator grille, powerdomes on the hood and a four-pipe exhaust system all form an aesthetic contrast to the SUV-inspired main-body design, whilst the 21-inch tires, increased ground clearance, side running boards, and front and rear underbody protection hint at the car’s off-road performance.
The Mercedes-Benz Concept GLC Coupe will be on show at the 2015 Shanghai Motor Show from the 22nd to the 29th of April.
