Learn a New Language in 200 Hours with Lingvist

You may be only 200 hours away from mastering your French so if you’re planning a trip to Paris, this may just be the app for you.  Lingvist is the first app which uses technology to decrease learning time and increase effectiveness. The program adjusts itself according to a learner’s capabilities, knowledge and preferred pace. It teaches languages using a natural approach based on how you would normally pick up words and conversations in your environment.

200 hours is the minimum amount of time required for someone to reach a B2 level proficiency in a foreign language, meaning that you’d have a vocabulary of at least 3,000 words in that language. At that level, you are able to understand written messages and have casual conversations about everyday topics.

Lingvist is currently available for users to learn English or French. Other languages will soon be available, including: Italian, Spanish, German, Russian, Japanese, and Swedish. The program is still in development so we’ll be seeing much more from it soon.

It works on all computers, tablets and mobile phones. Visit the Lingvist website for further details. If you’re keen on learning French, you can download it now from the App Store or Google Play.
