Land Rover is staying pretty busy these days, from launching the latest generation of their Discovery to unveiling the all-new Range Rover Velar with a watch from Zenith to match. We’ve seen the Velar in photos but we were glad to be in attendance for the SUV’s US debut at the New York Auto Show week. The private event at the Lincoln Center hosted local dealers, customers, and select press while Ellie Goulding kicked off the festivities. Gerry McGovern, Land Rover Chief Design Officer, hopped on stage as the automaker lifted the veil of their latest creation. Gerry’s vision has been the driving force behind Land Rover’s resurgence the last several years and the Velar is arguably one of his best works to date. It features a timeless design with clean lines and you can appreciate it that much more when you see it in person.
