harman/kardon Introduces Invoke Personal Digital Assistant to Battle Amazon Echo and Google Home

From harman/kardon comes Invoke, the latest piece of tech to enter the personal digital assistant arena. It’s intelligence is powered by Microsoft’s Cortana which helps you do everything from voice controlling your music and smart home, receiving hands-free calls with Skype, and getting answers to questions. The music and audio component stands out the most here as harman/kardon’s tech and design skills really shine. It remains to be seen if Invoke is as smart and as easy to use as Amazon’s Echo and Google’s Home, but it’s definitely the most aesthetically pleasing. Blend that with the fact that Invoke features three woofers, three tweeters, and two passive radiators that leverage Sonique Far-Field Voice tech and seven mics to isolate a user’s voice, no matter how noisy it is. That should make setting reminders, managing your calendar or checking traffic a breeze.

The harman/kardon Invoke is due to release this fall.
