The conversation around Zion Williamson has been nothing short of relentless. The Duke product, this year’s number one pick in the NBA Draft, and now a New Orleans Pelican, the history books already have Zion’s chapter started and with it will be Jordan Brand. He’s officially joined Jordan Brand and their family of 50-plus athletes and will undoubtedly be a leading face for them for many years to come. Michael Jordan himself said, “Zion’s incredible determination, character, and play are inspiring. He’s an essential part of the new talent that will help lead the brand into the future. He told us he would ‘shock the world,’ and asked us to believe him. We do.”
And so do we. Night and night out, Zion displays a tremendous amount of talent, promise, humility and sheer passion for the game. That’s consistent with all that the Jordan Brand but it’s also the person we want to root for. And for him, this is about connecting with his youth and aspiring to to have the impact MJ. “I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the Jordan Brand family,” said Williamson. “Since I was a kid, I dreamed of making it to the league and having the type of impact on the game Michael Jordan had and continues to have today.
