Daniel Arsham’s love for Porsche continues with his latest work, the ERODED 911 TURBO Sculpture Edition. Arkham reimagines a 1986 911 Turbo (930) as a calcified relic from the future, a direction consistent with other creations from the designer in recent years. “Geological materials and German engineering come together to blend the past, present, and future into one work of art,” said Arsham on Instagram.
Each edition measures 12.2 inches in length with weight coming in under seven pounds. The ERODED 911 TURBO comes in an Arsham Studio designed packaging with die-cut foam, sealing label and a pair of white art handling gloves. It’s limited to just 500 pieces with each piece including an Arsham Editions holographic label verifying its edition number and authenticity.
The ERODED 911 TURBO edition will release September 25 at noon EST through Daniel Arsham’s online shop.
