New Balance introduces a black colorway to its 1906R “Protection Pack” series following the release of a cream colorway earlier in the year.
Sneakerheads are presented with a rugged aesthetic that serves a similar look as the 2002Rs. It builds up from a black mesh base to slashed overlays in black and grey. The “N” logo sport a lifted outline contrasting the parameter, paired with torn-up leather tabs for the model-specific branding. Diving deep into the distressed finish are the tongues, lower laces, and rears combined with a vintage identity on the yellowed N-ERGY midsoles.
