ECD Auto Design Rolls Out Project Oliver Plaid, an LS3 Range Rover Classic

ECD Auto Design, the Land Rover restoration company based in Florida, revealed Project Oliver Plaid. The LS3 Range Rover Classic starts with a 1990s Range Rover Classic, with a ‘70s aesthetic vibe and an LS3 engine to bring it into the present.

Project Oliver Plaid digs into the Land Rover’s British heritage with a Range Rover Classic body in a ‘70s era glossy Bentley Alpine Green Metallic exterior, grille, bumpers, and a safari-style Voyager roof rack and mud flaps. The LS3 Range Rover Classic, repurposed for off-road and pavement driving, also gets silver accents, BFGoodrich All-Terrain tires, and polished silver 16-inch Standard Wolf wheels and door handles.

Inside, Project Oliver Plaid lives up to its name with standard Land Rover seats in Bentley-matched green plaid seat inserts and Nappa tan leather, a leather-wrapped steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, custom olive-green floor mats, olive green carpet, Blaupunkt Bremen SQR 46 DAB radio, Infinity KAPPA speaker and Infinity BassLink subwoofer, ECD custom center console with leather pocket for driver’s side storage, two USB ports, automatic headlights, and Bluetooth capabilities.

Under the hood, Project Oliver Plaid gets a standard LS3 engine paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission, stock axles, air suspension, EBC Fast brakes, and Borla stainless steel sport dual exhausts.
