Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years Debuts at Geneva Watch Days 2023

Geneva-based watchmaker Alpina reveals the standard-production versions of the 14-piece limited-edition 140th-anniversary watches released earlier this year. The new Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years watches were presented at this year’s Geneva Watch Days 2023.

Featuring a vintage art deco aesthetic, the new Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years features a rectangular profile, a stainless steel case construction, a domed sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment over the dial, a sapphire crystal on the engraved screw-on display caseback, leaf-shaped hours and minutes hands, and water resistance up to 30 meters. The watch comes with a light brown ostrich leather strap with off-white contrast stitching and is held by a stainless steel pin buckle.

The two dial variants include a silver dial with matte finishing that comes with black printed Arabic numerals and indices, black hour and minute hands, a rectangular seconds register with a small black second counter at 6 o’clock, and a black matte-finished dial with beige printed Arabic numerals and indices, beige hour and minute hands, and a circular seconds register with a beige second counter at 6 o’clock.

Powering the Alpina Alpiner Heritage Carrée Automatic 140 Years is the Caliber AL-530 automatic movement, which runs at a frequency of 4 Hz. It features 32 jewels and has a 38-hour power reserve.
