Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Midnight Blue Edition Honors a Record Holder

Piaget’s goal to produce ultra-thin watches started with the 9P movement unveiled in Geneva in 1957. In 2018, the Altiplano ultra-thin watch collection’s 2mm Altiplano Ultimate Concept earned the world’s record for the thinnest watch. In honor of that achievement, the Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Midnight Blue Edition was unveiled at Watches and Wonders Shanghai 2023.

The 41 mm Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Midnight Blue Edition features a midnight blue PVD-coated cobalt alloy merged case and movement, ultra-thin sapphire crystal, midnight blue bezel, matte main plate, sun-brushed dial, and bridge, silver openworked barrel, balance and escapement, gear train, and hands. It has a water resistance of up to 20m and comes with a tone-on-tone alligator strap with a pin buckle.

It runs on the Piaget caliber 900P-UC hand-wound movement. It has 13 jewels, vibrates at 28,800 vibrations/h, hours and minutes functions, and a 45-hour power reserve.

The Piaget Altiplano Ultimate Concept Midnight Blue Edition, reference G0A47507, is released as a reproducible reference, with a price available upon request. For more information, please visit the Piaget website.
